Introduction
I’m a Korean individual investor managing a personal portfolio across both KOSPI and the S&P 500. This blog is my public record — every month I’ll share what I’m holding, why I’m holding it, and how it’s performing.
I’m not a professional. I’m not a fund manager. I’m just someone who built his own screening system and decided to track it openly.
My Approach: GARP
I use a GARP (Growth at a Reasonable Price) framework. The idea is simple: find companies growing earnings consistently, but don’t overpay for that growth. I screen both Korean large-caps (KOSPI, market cap ≥ 5 trillion KRW) and U.S. large-caps (S&P 500).
Current Portfolio — May 2026
I’ll update this section each month with my actual holdings and allocation.
Check back at the end of the month for my first full portfolio update.
Why Read This Blog?
English-language coverage of the Korean stock market is surprisingly thin. Most global investors interested in KOSPI struggle to find ground-level analysis written by someone who actually follows it daily.
That’s the gap I’m trying to fill.
